Bio:

The 2008 season is Scott Steinmann's first season as manager of the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx although he has spent the past ten years within the Mariners organization.

The Chandler, Arizona resident has previous managerial experience with the High Desert Mavericks, the Mariners� Single A team in the California League (2007), the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, the Mariners' Single A team in the Midwest League (2005), and the Rookie League Peoria Mariners (2003 and 2004).

After attending Miami of Ohio University, Steinmann was a catcher in the Mariners organization from 1996-1998 and played in Double-A Orlando in 1998. He began his coaching career with the Mariners as a roving catching instructor in 1999.
